SharePoint for students and teachers
Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003, aka, SharePoint is a web based application that provides a secure storage solution that teachers and students can access from school or home. It will be the only source of storage space for student work. Through SharePoint teachers will be able to access their own private SharePoint site, their Class SharePoint Sites and their students' SharePoint sites. Access to all these sites will require a network login and password.
For more information on SharePoint please visit the KMS SharePoint Portal Site.

Troubleshooting 101. Please take a minute to troubleshoot a problem before calling Mrs. Caviness. These simple steps may save us both a lot of time.
Make sure all plugs and cables are securely attached.
Make sure your surge protector and switch or wireless has lights.
Shut down (no power) EVERYDAY – especially if you’re having problems. This sometimes chases those gremlins away.
Please do not have switches hooked up to switches or power strips plugged into power strips – this causes me warts!
If you can’t save to the H-drive, can’t print, can’t get on the Internet, or your computer goes straight to the desktop without letting you log in, shut down your computer and try again. Chances are you did not log into the network correctly. Make sure your network drop is fastened securely.
Back-up, Back-up, Back-up. Make a backup copy of everything
