Juggernaut - Paul Jennings
-At the beginning; basses set the ostinato and get out of the way.
-Entrances at measure 9 must blend with the previous dynamic and just add texture.
-Dotted 8th, 16th note figure at the pick-up to 25 needs to be crisp and very articulate.
-At 65, bring out half notes, back off on the whole notes and trills.
-Broaden to end - MEMORIZED!
Ancient Voices - Michael Sweeney

-Moving lines are the most important at 7 and on

-Do not speed up the 8th notes during the crescendo before 59
-Flutes: practice the section at 59 SLOWLY, then speed it up gradually to get all of the correct notes
-69 - SUDDENLY back to tempo one. Do not slow down in measure 68, must be a surprise!
-m. 88 get softer to crescendo to the end.
-Do not move until the wind chimes are silent and I lower my arms.
Commemoration - Robert W. Smith
-Trumpets fanfare-like in the beginning
-Clarinets watch the slurring eighth note section. Do not cut quarter notes short.
-Tambourine needs to be low and flat and played very lightly near the rim.
-Woodwinds follow the given trade off on breathing during the repeated 8th note section.
-Saxes and horns need to push through the phrases at 48 and really sing out.
-Trumpets need bells into the stands at 48, both times
-Snare must stay on top of the beat at 48.
-Last note: DO NOT FORCE! Beautiful tone!
