February is Multicultural and Black History Month. As a part of our Multicultural and Black History Celebration at KMS, we have included information on classroom activities that may be incorporated in your lesson plans throughout the month. Below are copies of activities that may be used with your students and a list of websites where more activities and information on Multicultural and Black History may be found. Please take this opportunity to celebrate diversity with our students through a variety of learning activities.
This is African American/Multicultural Month. There
are several activities going on at KMS that you might want to encourage
your students to participate in. The topics and activities go along
with the curriculum of Social Studies at each grade level. You might
even want to offer extra credit for some of the activities if they
participate and report back to you in whatever manner you determine.
