Visualize what makes a person successful... then ask yourself, are you doing all you can to ensure a successful future? If not, remember today can always be the start of a new you. #committosuccess

PTA Reflections contest
Every fall the KMS PTA sponsors the Reflections contest. The Reflections program promotes and celebrates many forms of art. The theme for this year is: The world would be a better place if….! It’s up to you to use your talents and develop a piece of art through music, visual arts, photography, dance, literature and/or film production that is the BEST Interpretation of this theme. You can submit as many entries as you like, but you must be the sole author of the entry. Also remember to fill in a Student Entry Form for each entry. We hope that many of you will accept this challenge and have fun working on an entry for the contest. Entries are due October 13th.
Important changes in reporting absences
If your child is absent from school, please call the attendance mailbox at (757) 648-4700 then enter 1 70698 #.
Virginia Beach City Public School policy requires that in cases of all absences, students must present a written excuse from a parent/guardian to the school stating the reason, even if you have called in the absence. Your child will be marked OU (other unexcused) until we receive a written note. You can email your excuse notes to [email protected].
