Access Virginia Beach:  Tune in on tonight at 6:00 p.m. for the premier of VBTV’s “Access Virginia Beach”, a program full of stories from around the city and schools.  Each edition of “Access Virginia Beach” airs for two weeks.  This month our own Gentlemen’s Club will be featured!  That’s VBTV: COX Channel 48, or Verizon Channel 45

Gentlemen’s Club:  The KMS Gentlemen's Club will meet on Tuesday December 6th after school in the Cafeteria. Members should dress appropriately.

Vision and Hearing Testing:  Vision and Hearing tests will be conducted next Monday and Tuesday for all 7th grade students.  Those who wear glasses should bring them on those days.

Reindeer Rally:  Anyone interested in running or have already registered for the Reindeer Rally 5K race should stop by Mrs. Yeager's Room 130 to pick up a permission slip.  Any NJHS member volunteering at the race should pick up a field trip permission slip as well. We must have an accurate headcount of who will be attending.

ATC STEM Day:  Today is the last day for 8th graders to submit any ATC STEM Day Field Trip forms to Mrs. Sutterluety or Mr. Whitley.  No late permission slips will be accepted.

AVID Spirit Wear:  AVID Spirit Wear are available for purchase online only.  All orders must
be submitted online by tomorrow. Support our AVID program and purchase your hoodie or sweatpants today! See Mr. Whitley or Mrs. Sutterluety for more information.

KMS Angel Tree:  The KMS Angel Tree is up and ready for donations!  Please select a tag for a deserving KMS family, then bring your unwrapped donations to Mrs. Makowski’s office by Wednesday, December 7th.  We thank you in advance for your generosity!

Spirit Wear:  Due to popular demand, the KMS PTA has re-ordered Spirit Wear!  Items and sizes are limited.  Anyone interested should check the tally board in the Library foyer for prices and availability.  Once they are gone, they're gone, so act now!

Holiday Cards to Vets:  Students who are artists, have computer skills, or are in need of volunteer hours are asked to consider making holiday cards to vets.  The holidays are around the corner and the MacArthur Memorial would like to distribute holiday cards to vets in the Hampton roads area.  Students are asked to make a generic holiday card either by hand or on the computer and deliver it to the Student Activities Office by Wednesday, December 7th. Students who are in need of volunteer hours will receive one hour of community service credit for every 15 cards they make.  Thank you in advance Braves for giving back to our community! Let's make this holiday a special one for all of our veterans.

Reflections:  There will be a ceremony for PTA Reflections participants today at 9:30 a.m. in the Cafeteria.

Krispy Kreme Donuts:  AVID students are selling Krispy Kreme donut gift certificates. The certificates are good for one dozen donuts and will be sold through December 15th.  The certificates all good all year long.  See Mrs. Sutterluety in the Library with any questions.

Academic Challenge:  The Academic Challenge Team lost a tough match yesterday against Landstown Middle. The “A” Team was led by Captain Luke B., who couldn’t have done it without the help of MVP of the Match Carter W., Olivia H., and Ned S.  Even with a great third round, they lost with a score of 290 to 370. The “B” Team was led by Captain Joel W. who had the help of his teammates Dane B., MVP of the Match Hannah K., and Genevieve T. They lost with a score of 130 to 240. Wish the Academic Challenge Team luck as they head to Brandon on Monday!
